your self-inflicted pain is getting too routine
the crowds are catching on, to your self-afflicted song

you gotta sink to swim

'cause we all know art is hard
young artists have gotta starve

try and fail and try again
the comforts of repetition

keep churnin' out those hits
'til it's all the same old shit

impersonate greater persons

when we dont know who we are

I love the piece so very much. The simple word hard is perfect along with the chiseled-ish looking head. Something we all just want to quit, sometimes we all just wish we loved something else that was more stable, but we all know we wouldn't be ourselves without art. Very contemplative
